DUNE BROOKLYN is a visual creation space and functional design studio inspired by the sensorial experience of the desert. The studio was founded in 2021, out of a desire to create spaces and objects that cultivate a sense of sublimity, peace in solitude, and joy in rituals. Surreal natural scenes, textures, light, color, and forms provide a framework for creation in a variety of media, primarily ceramics. Pieces are wheel thrown and hand made by Heather (founder & designer) in her Brooklyn studio. We make sure all excess clay is reclaimed and recycled to make more beautiful items. To protect our planet, we strive for paper over plastic practices, and sustainable packaging as much as possible, however, we do reuse all packaging from supply and equipment shipments (especially bubble wrap) - so please note your packaging may show signs of reuse. Dune Brooklyn partners with One Tree Planted to restore ecosystems that have been degraded and deforested.
